Room Planning

How Much Space Do You Need for a Golf Simulator?

Ceiling height, width and depth planning — with the measurements that actually matter.

Space planning is the step that decides which equipment is even eligible for your build. Measure first, shop second.

The three measurements

Ceiling height: measure to the lowest obstruction, not the drywall. Width: measure usable wall-to-wall space at swing height. Depth: measure from screen wall to the back of your intended hitting area.

Add clearance behind the screen so the surface can absorb impact without contacting the wall.

Tight-space strategies

Short-throw projectors, side-mounted tracking units and lower-profile mats can each recover several critical inches.
